Folk Lore is an exploration of my Polish national identity through a spirit label design. The alcohol of choice is vodka distilled from potatoes, the most common variety in Poland. The label illustration is inspired by Polish folk culture and handcrafts, specifically floral embroidery and folk cutouts characteristic to the Łowicz, Kaszubian, and Krupówki regions in Poland. The colors of the label relate to the polish flag, which is white and red, as well as the traditional outfits worn by people of Krakow, the city where I was born.

The resulting label presents a high quality and luxurious beverage that celebrates Polish folk traditions, art, and culture.
